UNDERGRADUATE STUDY
BA and BFA in Studio Art
Students come to Brooklyn College to pursue work in Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Photography, and Digital Art. The department offers a suite of studios and workrooms including state of the art digital labs, a pristine printmaking studio, analog and digital photography labs, and naturally lit painting studios. In sculpture, we house woodworking, metal, and ceramic facilities.
• At the BFA level, additional seminars prepare students for a culminating senior thesis exhibition.

BA in Art History
In addition to cutting edge research in art history, our students also benefit from taking art studio classes in a variety of media.

GRADUATE STUDY
MFA in Studio Art
At the graduate level, the department supports work in media including Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Photography, Video and Digital Art as well as cross disciplinary work. For graduate students, both group and private studios are available as well as access to all departmental facilities.

PIMA program (Performance and Interactive Media Art)
PIMA is a collaborative MFA program offered as an interdepartmental degree. Courses from PIMA are available to the Art MFA students as electives.
